Range Safety Rules
- NO FIREARMS ARE TO BE UNCASED OR MAGAZINES TO BE LOADED ON THE

- Rifles may be
fired when approved by the Range Safety Officer.
- Shotgun slugs
may be fired. NO buckshot or birdshot may be fired.

- If a misfire or
other malfunction occurs, leave the firearm on the line table, keeping it
pointed down range, and notify a Range Safety Officer. DO NOT leave the firing
line with a loaded or jammed firearm.
- No one other
than MTM ARMS personnel may go forward of the
firing line unless authorized or instructed to do so by the Range Safety
- Firing a shot on
the Range that results in the bullet striking anything other than the target
and/or backstop, may result in a minimum repair fine of $75.00 and/or your
removal from the range.
- Drawing a
firearm from a holster is not permitted.
- Cross firing of
targets is prohibited.
- All firing must
be aimed fire.
- Loose shell
casings are a safety hazard. Spent cartridges must be swept up and disposed of
in the buckets provided prior to leaving for the day. You may collect your own
brass that is inside your stall and behind the firing line. All brass that
falls in front of the firing line may not be collected.
- Always wash your
hands and face with cold water immediately after shooting.
- Report any
unsafe conduct to the Range Safety Officer immediately.
- Lane Prices will
be charged as follows:
1-30 minutes, $12
31-60 minutes, $24, etc.
- Active or Retired Law Enforcement Officers and IL
CCL holders with current credentials may carry a loaded firearm in a holster throughout
MTM Arms property.
